Wanted to recommend this blog. Go read it! It's fantastic!

It's called The Damacene Blog He posts daily images from Damascus, Syria. The photos are wonderful as is the informative text that goes with them. One of my fave postings was about going to a barber. They have a certain word that exists in their language that you say to somebody that has just gotten their hair cut!!! Anyway, it's a great window into another culture along with some really beautiful pictures. Go look see :)

Really, if you want to set one up, it's very simple to do. You can set up a blog about 5 or 10 minutes. Just sign up, choose a template, and away you go!!!

Mine took a lot longer than that. It took around a whole day to do because I tinkered with the template 's HTML and customised things to my liking. I Added links to the side bar and all that good stuff.

Just got home, can hardly see, but still, no matter the content, it pays to proofread your content before you make it public. Even if you are just saying CLouds. ;)
 
Thanks for the encouragement Mr. Wabbit. I might start blogging after the start of the new year. What are the criteria for a "good" blog? Should a blog be a public diary? I'm reading Guerilla Warfare, and I think that Che would have definitely blogged to spread the revolution. :D

Yeah, start a blog up, it's good fun! What makes for a good blog? I guess that's a very personal thing. For me personally, I tend to like blogs that have something to show. It could be photos, web links, prose/poetry, cartoons, witty points of view, insane ramblings, or jokes and so on. It's a really personal thing. Think about what you want the blog to be. I would say try to have a vision of what you want it to be and then try to stick to that :)

As for Stewarts avatar is freaky but not as freaky as the man himself :D

I have a blog but have only written 3 entries in a month... Goes to show how exciting my life is.
