Book Criticism

Can anyone post a link to a site that provides some good, scholarly literary criticisms and analyzations? Please don't say sparknotes or monkeynotes or anything along those lines. I need some essays or something like that for The Inferno and for A portrait of the artist as a young man . I'd appreciate it.

I've never used this before, because my university subscribes to databases (you might want to ask your school librarian, btw). But it looks good, it's from the Internet Public Library:

They have James Joyce, no Dante.

It might be better to find a good library and get a book of essays about them, cause most essays on the internet have to be bought.
