Book Format

I'm just finishing writing my first book and need advice about a format. The intention is to make it a pocket size.

My questions are:
1) is there any common denomiator or standard for pocket size books?
2) what would be the least expensive size?

From the technical point, I'm thinking about (2 3/4 x 5 7/8 inch) or (7.0 x 14.8 cm) which is exactly one thrid of a A4 page.

Any ideas appreciated

Hmmm...of all criteria that I might consider when writing a book, I think that this might be one instance where size really does NOT matter...

You are self-publishing, I suppose; otherwise it would be up to the publisher. If the printers you choose have printed books before, they should know.
