Book - money

That would depend how much money I was making. Definitely not nowadays, but I'm fairly sure my first few paycheques would have barely covered a used paperback.

It would also depend on the book. I've spent way more than I'd like to admit on university textbooks.

Thanks for your polite answer. I'm looking forward to talk you:cool:

No! I think buying books is not a waste of money, but not a whole paycheck!

Hey, Libra. How's it going on? Thanks a lot for your reply. I think you are wrong with that you said in above message you have written because one can spend any amount of money for a book because we're inspired by the books.

I would. That's my idea.

Do you mean paycheck or annual salary? In either case I would not spend twice my salary (per pay period or per year) on a single book. The retail value of my collection is probably up there though...

A paycheck!
It can happen. You have no ability to stop them.

Hi. How are you doing? Yes, you're right. But I'm not gonna get married. Okay, let's get it straight: now I can pay 250$ for an Armani shirt but if I'll get married, I'll not be able to. Now I can sleep at any teahouse but then I'll not be able to. I can now stay at Nima's but then I'll not be able to. And moreover, I have a girlfriend and after inshallah I enter to the university, she will move to me and we will live together but we will never have a baby.

Mehdirza, no kids? You don't want that persian blood to go on forever and ever? Your girlfreind agrees?

Thanks for interesting. Let me explain. Speaking of the decision of my girlfriend, of course, I have to agree with what she will say because firstly, our women are yek! (unique) and secondly, I am afraid of Niloufer. And we haven't spoken about it yet. But I am sure a boy in 17 and a girl in 22 don't want baby.

And Persian blood has to be kept going on. But not necessarily by me. I have brother.

Would you spend as twice as your salary for a book?

Never! I demand bang for every buck I spend and spending that kind of money on a book does not qualify as being bang for the buck. I like my books from amazon that cost one penny plus shipping... that's bang for the buck.
