Bookshelfporn.com?

This site appeared on my facebook page as an update from a blogger. It shows pictures of different types of bookshelves.

I thought bookshelfporn was an odd name, but then look at this reading room:

Wow. I would love to have a reading room like that!

For the last half hour or so I've been looking at the photos on this site and I didn't see anyone displaying mass market paper backs. For buying and reading dime-store novels I guess I am considered the "beavis-and-butthead" of the literary world.

Fifth Ave Books is a used bookstore in my neighborhood and they keep their mass-market paperbacks in a back room with a sign on the entrance that says, "there is no literature in this section!" I remember when I bought an Alex Cross novel in that store, the owner of the shop could barely hide his contempt when I paid for it.

If the owner was that bothered by it, I'm surprised he had it in his store.
