i saw this book in waterstones today and i really wanted to get it but ended up buying another one i really wanted after deliberating for an age (as per usual!) anyway, i can't remember what it's called, or the title, or anything (yes, i know, i could try being a little more observant couldn't i?!) but i know that
1. it has something to do with an otter in the title
2. it has a mainly-white cover with a picture of an otter on a raft - or something - on it.
3. the story is about a teenage boy who wants to run away (to china i think)
4. it says 'mong' in about the second paragraph. i don't know why this is important or would make you remember, but i'm trying to give you as many clues as i can.
5. it was in the 3 for 2 offer at the st. anne's square branch of waterstones in manchester, for anybody that might be helpful for, if you may have looked there recently.

please help, anybody?! thanks!!

i tried searching the site and got about 21,000 results for the only word in the title i could remember, and i didn't want to call the store because they'd think i was stupid for forgetting it in the first place and lazy for not just dropping by there to check it myself, especially when the only reason i wanted to know was because it was bugging me that i couldn't remember!

And how would they know any of that? ;)
Just say that you won't be able to get to that location again anytime soon and you would like to know that title before they rearrange the display shelf or end the promotion or..
