Hello! I hope someone here can help me. My grandma read a book a while back about a man whose last name was Blood. He was wounded in war and ended up taking a woman as a slave. He's very cold hearted but ends up falling in love with her. According to Grandma he dies at the end. It would be great if someone could help me find a title or author, I have been all over the place looking for this for her. She wants to read it again bad, and after telling me about it I would love to read it to. I wish I had more information to give you, but that was all she could remember. She said the woman may have been indian, but she couldn't remember if it was the same book.
