This is a bit of a long shot but here goes anyway...
A few years back the Czech newspaper 'Lidove noviny' ran a poll with leading Czech critics and authors to find 'The 100 Greatest Czech Prose Works of the (20th) Century'.
This list used to be on the old interweb somewhere but foolishly I didn't cut & paste it when I had the chance. Now I can't find the damn thing anywhere, even with the help of a Anglo-Czeck dictionary.
Any chance we have a Czech member on board somewhere who can point me in the right direction using a search engine thats a bit more localised than Google? Perhaps you C&P'd it yourself and can post it here?
I'd be much abliged to anyone who can help, as this area of Literature is of great interest to me; all I can remember about the list is that 'Svejk' won it and Kafka wasn't considered as he wrote in German.
Regards,
