Please help-Dante and Joyce

I need some help. I've got to read The Inferno and James Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man within 10 days, and i have to make an outline for their comparison/analysis. Can anyone give me some ideas or resources to look at while I read?

Spark notes are free online (it's a Barnes and Noble brand - similar to Cliff Notes). Just do a search.

Wow, only ten days to read two rather heavy books? That's kindof a bummer. You must have a heck of a tough teacher. While the reading is certainly doable, it doesn't give you much time to ENJOY what you are reading. I always ran into that kind of problem in college. Just enough time to do most of my reading, not nearly enough time for digestion and retention.

*sigh*...sparknotes is fine and all, but their explanations are just so mundane... I can analyze the same information out of a book without their stinky help. I need someone who has read the books to help me focus my reading. And yeah, I guess I did procrastinate a wee bit, but I've already read 3/5 of Portrait so I've got a little head start
