What's the difference between a dead man, and a man who's alive?
What's the difference between something very small, and a man no one
will ever see alive again? Teetering and tattering; fathom and a weeping willow. It's the possibility of possibilities. Would you build a time machine or a bridge? Kill a child or care for the sick? If you had a quarter, would you spend it? If you had a seed, would you grow it?
My grandfather was a very sick man. He was found dead one day, and everyone cried. His wife laid to rest; I stood by while a part of me died. Pecking his thumbs of a fallen brother I said 'I understand it now, and I'm doing it.' Who am I talking about? The Grandfather Paradox.
