Another fine actor has recently passed away. He was best known for his roles as Carl Kolchak in the original "Night Stalker" and the gruff father in A Christmas Story. He died of natural causes at age 83.

Night Stalker was one of my favorite shows. It used to scare the peewaddin' out of me

I remember him from the old series in the '60's, The Outsiders. He really was a talented actor, and seemingly a nice guy.
