Hi everyone, I am hoping that someone can help me, but after hours of google searches I'm not too sure.. I'm looking for a book I read as a child. The plot involved a child (possibly called Ophelia but I may have imagined that) who is living with her ill grandmother. A woman is brought in to look after the grandmother and won't let the girl see her grandmother. I then have a bit of a vague patch, but I do remember that it turned out that the woman was a witch, and was feeding the granmother a potion which was slowly making her invisible. The girl goes off to a magic school to learn how to defeat the witch, and then all her new friends go with her and they all help and defeat her. By this point the grandmother is almost transparent but recovers (a typical happy ending)! If anyone knows this book or knows of something similar (I read this years ago and may have gotten some of the details muddled) I'd be very grateful.
