Discussion for Martin's Above you Thread

Do we need a place to discuss the pros and cons that come from Martins thread? That way people can discuss the comments without having to do the pro and con back and forth everytime they wish to make a comment.

(I'm trying to stay true to your thread Martin by not posting the question there.)

Sell Sword: I did notice you where from Delaware (Hellaware), but you seem to come and go with longer periods of go, so I was just waiting for a good opportunity to "buddy up".

Thanx to anyone who has anything positive to say.
 
By the way, there are 264 views of his thread at this posting, and only 8 different people (some have posted more than once) have bothered, or had the stones to post.

Are people scared? Maybe there's so many of us that are new here we don't really know enough about the people posting to get involved on that level?

It's not a case of being scared, it's a case of not knowing anyone well enough to say anything about them :)
 
I havent joined in not because im scared but i dont see the point of the thread and i dont like it.

I'm not interested in saying negative things about other people. I really have nothing negative to say anyway. Some people I like more than others but that's life. What is the point of saying something negative about somebody? and anyway, it all comes down to a point of view.

About saying something good? Why should I? I do like some people here very much and admire certain people but so? Again, its all a matter of opion.

And as for people saying good or bad about me, i simply dont care. I do what I like and live how I please. If people like me or the way i do things then good. If those people don't then ok. I simply don't care :)

For me, it's a waste of time.

But threads about penguins aren't?

All I did was create a friendly invironment in which you can 1) criticise someone and2) compliment someone without creating the need for the other person to get defensive and what not.

And as for people saying good or bad about me, i simply dont care. I do what I like and live how I please.

I wasnt calling your thread pointless. I said it's pointless fo rme. Not that the thread itself is pointless.

I'm not being critical of your thread. If you like to do it then fine! If others like to join in then fine! Moto kid just asked the question why dont you join in and I said why :)

So don't misunderstand me! I simply answered the question Moto Kid posed.

Well, at least you alwasy get the truth out of me. I tell things how I see it. No lies. No bullshit. Best way really :)

I just cannot understand what purpose it serves?

OK, only since you ask me directly.

Positive: funny, clever, honest, honourable, with integrity and you seem to be a good person.

Negative: You stink! :p OK, seriously... Moody, Sometimes too forward and brash/abrasive but that maybe to hide some sense of insecurity at your heart?

How's that? :)
