Does anyone know the title or author?

I'v been looking for this book for a whiel now, I read it before but cannot for the life of me remember the title or author. It's about a little girl who becomes possessed by the portrait of an ancestor whose father killed her. The little girl who becomes possessed trys to get revenge for her acestor and lures other children into a cave in the cliff near her house and leaves them their to die and tormet. If anyone could give me any information on it I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
