Not the End of the World by Geraldine McCaughrean
The book is a story about Noah and his family and what it would really be like on the Ark with all the Claustrophobic tensions, practical problems, even the smell with all the animals on board.
cabrasopa - Thanks for that link! I want to check that book out soon if I can find it. Your suggestion reminded me of yet another book I want to get my hands on with regards to the subject of Noah's Ark: The Preservationist looks like a great novel.
Oh my, how could I have forgotten about the brilliant Paulo Coehlo.
I have that book, in fact, I think I started reading it at one time, but I think it was a time where I was quite stressed out and did really have time to concentrate on it.

I read this a month or so ago and really enjoyed it. The author took poetic liscense with a couple of details in the Biblical account, but they were minor and I enjoyed his take on what it might have been like.
