Hi all,
I've recently been trying to locate a book that I had through my childhood.
The book I am looking for is The Owl and The Pussycat, the book also included some nonsense poems too at the back of the book.
The illustrations were beautiful, really detailed, perhaps watercolours were used (sorry,if im rambling a little,it was a few years ago, lol)
The book had a white cover with a picture of the owl and the pussycat, the book title i do believe was written in italics. It's a hardback book too.
Now the book wasn't very think in regards to quantity,i'd hazard a guess on around 35 pages maximum.
I'd also say that the book would have been published approximately around 12 years ago.
I know all this is information is very vague,it's just this book means so much to me and I am desperate to try and track down another copy after mine was lost in a house fire.
If anyone could help in assisting my search it would be much apprieciated. I would have to be able to view pictures of the book in order for me to be able to identify that it is the copy the I am requiring.
Thanks in advance,Rockyb.
:)

I wish I could tell you - there are so many illustrated versions of this poem.

This link has Amazon.com The Owl and The Pussycat children's books.

You can also use Google's image search with "The Owl and The Pussycat", and see if any of the pictures look familiar.
Good luck.

I think that Jan Brett has the best illustrations out there. The book was published more than twelve years ago, but this still might be the one you are looking for. If not, I suggest it anyway, simply for the beauty of the illustrations.
