I read this book about a year and a half ago and at first I hated it, but after a lot of thought and a second reading it really grew on me.
Now.
The two main characters, at one point in the book, are discussing something in a cafe. One of them brings up Barryman's 14 or 114 dream songs or something similar.
I have since forgotten, but does anyone know if Barryman was an actual poet and whether or not his dream songs really exist? I'm not so sure.
Also...
Did anyone have to let this book grow on them like I did?
