Fantastic Four

Just recently, the anticipated trailer for the upcoming super hero film, 'The Fantastic Four' made it's first debut. For the first time, fans of this particular series got a glimpse of how their favorite comic heros would look on the big screen.

What do you think. It's yet another typical hollywood blockbuster, but the trailer does look spectacular - looks like a decent night out, to me.

Cheers

I typically don't have high hopes for these influx of comics to silver screen adaptations. More often than not they tend to suck, or not show the same sort of range as their comics counterparts.

Anybody pretty and doesn't sport nose hairs in it?

Why blond? Now she looks like one more dumb chick without character.
I liked her more with dark hair.

She now looks like Buffy.

Arn't their names a tiny little bit ridiculous? The Thing? Invisble Woman?
By the way what is Jessica Alba doing with her body posture in the last pic?

To be blunt - thrusting her tits forward.
To be less blunt - arousing the 'interest' of a male audience.

And I kinda like her blond. That said, I'm not the biggest Jessica Alba-fan around.

Cheers

Yes, I noticed that. But it looks like it kinda hurts. Besides that it looks silly.

I'm not a Jessica Alba fan at all. But blond doesn't equal better.

Synopsis
Marvel’s beloved superhero team comes to the big screen. Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic, who can elongate his body; Susan Storm / Invisible Woman, who not only can become invisible at will but can render other objects invisible; Johnny Storm / Human Torch, who can shoot fire from his finger tips and bend flame; and Ben Grimm / The Thing, a hideously misshapen monster with superhuman strength, together battle the evil Doctor Doom.
Now I know why he's called Mr. Fantastic.

It looks promising. The odd thing about the Jessica A casting is exactly that she's a dark-haired beauty and her character, Sue Storm, is blond and that cannot be changed. I think the idea is to remove the "dark beauty" aspect of JA, so people won't think that "Dark Angel" chick ...

It would have been very cool if they tried to do a sixties treatment of this team because their "names" are of that era Torch, Thing, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible *Girl* etc. Even Doctor Doom ... Be that as it may, I'm going to try to keep my expectations low so as not to be disappointed ...
