Have any favorite anti war books, essays or speeches? If so, please post with any links and explain how a given work most affected you. To me, Mark Twain's war prayer is timeless. He wrote this with the Spanish-American war agitating "patriots" in mind. The style and wit of Twain truly comes out in this piece, I enjoy reading it whenever the opportunity arises.

Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun is my fave anti-war novel. It really scared me as a teen. He was blacklisted for his views as well.
