Favorite radio shows/personalities

Prairie Home Companion is pretty good, but now that I've listened to it for several years, it's getting a little monotonous.

I'm a fan of old-time radio. My favorite by far is Jack Benny. Allen's Alley is classic of course. I also like Gracie Allen, though I could do without the rest of the show.

I always have century fm tuned into my radio!

I like it cause it just doesnt play chart music! :D

If I'm not reading I listen to London's LBC 97.3fm. It's talk radio and doesn't play music... phew.

I used to like to listen to Mark and Lard on Radio 1 on weekday afternoons. But now they have gone their separate ways :( , I don't listen to the radio at all (except for 10 mins in the morning when my radio alarm wakes me. It is still tuned to Radio 1, but I don't know why, with the shite they play. I guess I'm too lazy to change it.)

I only listen to the "news/weather/traffic station" on my commute into the city. That way, I can hear the same news at least three times before I get into work, and get a blow-by-blow account of the traffic tie-up I happen to be sitting in.

Why? Out of habit, I guess.

I'm a big Al Franken and Ed Schultz fan. I listen to them onAM 760. When it's late at night, then it's Coast to Coast AM w/George Noory.

Who do you like to listen to?:)

I"m right with you, Brother!
I've got Chicago, IL - WCPT-AM 850 AM Air America Radio-Chicago
my favorite is Randi Rhodes...She's a card.:p

Gotta love Al Franken:D

By the way.....I love the countdown clock on that site

Radio is just background noise for me. I listen to it when I'm in the car (which is almost never) and when I'm on the road at work (which is completely never until May). We often have it running in the background at home, but it is low and I never hear it. I listen to a progressive music channel that rarely has talking on it. There is a morning personality whose name is Kelsey, but she's mostly just there to play music. I can't be bothered to watch TV regularly enough to get into shows, and radio gets the same treatment.
