These are my favourite books:


1984 by George Orwell,
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka,
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini,
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon,
Remainder by Tom McCarthy,
The People's Act of Love by James Meek,
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.

Anyone else read them, want to discuss what they thought of any of the above? I'd love to hear what other people think of my favs!

I've only read 1984 and Of Mice and Men of those. I enjoyed both of them, but wouldn't cite them as favorites.

I've read The Kite Runner and The People's Act of Love. Liked them, though probably not enough to put on my list of favorites.

Yes me to, it was brilliant. Totally got absorbed in that Universe, which I'm not sure was that healthy!
