Found this on alt.books, anyone know what this book is? Seems interesting.
I've been looking everywhere for this particular book I read about 12 years
ago, only problem I don't know the author and I don't know the title....can
anyone help out?
Here's the storyline:
Four kids in the 50's I think, in catholic school, break into one of the
priests closets and steal this book on black magic. They go to Coney Island
and try a few incantations and something happens over in the distance but
they can't exactly see what it is, just that it's evil. Fast forward about
20 years or so, and these kids have all gone they're seperate ways, but one
of them, I think Tim, has become a rich, powerful, successful lawyer. The
only thing is he's hunting hookers in new york. I forget the protagonists
name, but he's hunting him down.....turns out that little incident next to
them as kids in coney island was actually himself in the future fighting the
devil....or maybe it was Tim....anyway that's the story in a nutshell.
