free first chapters?

Hey guys i wonder can anyone help me with this. Im not being a cheap skate or anything but i need to find a site with free first chapters to a large selection of books.
Ive found a couple of sites but their only for a specific book im looking for at the time.

Can anyone out there help.

I know there must be ones out there and i think its a good way to read part of the book before buying it.

A few publishers do that. Also, Amazon allows you a preview on the first page or two of many titles.

Most ebook publishers offer 1-3 free chapters. Just google 'online ebooks'.

I know it won't answer your question but the best way to preview a book you want to buy is going to a bookstore and asking the vendors to give a look at it.

I particularly think so because you can obviously trust the content and also because any bookstore has a cafe so you can sit, relax and order a coffee, tea or whatever you need while you read the first chapter of your desired book.

(And if the book you're browsing comes to the attention of any passer, there is someone to exchange opinions about the book and start a conversation, what helps to decide if it worths the buy or not)
