I received this one as a christmas gift, just got around to it as of late, I figure it will be a good "filler"read as I don't want to leave the book discussion in the dust. I knew this one was famous for its biting humor and sarcasm about life in post-Soviet Russia. The depiction of historical Russia caught in decay and silly western commericalization is a hilarious read. Misha to me is the brother separated at birth from Ignatius J. Reilly. His physical description and ability to take jokes about it remind me of old Ignatius, though Ignatius was more sensitive about that kind of thing. I had a good chuckle in reading about Misha's education at Accidental College in multicultural studies. There is more to read about of course, will provide more as I get more into the book.
