Well, Hi.
The reason i came here, is because i'm forced to read 30 min. a day by my school so i come in here for good books.
I once bought everything after looking at the covers, Video Games, DVDs, Books.
But i've learned that you should go for reviews instead.
When reviews are aimed at the experienced reader i came in here instead, where i can talk about the books.
So, my taste?
Well, it cant be too complex, as i am not yet a master of the english language :p
I like everything Dark and Gritty, horror yes, right now.
I was once a big fan of Fantasy, but it has died down.
I dont have any favorite authors, well, i was kinda fond of... whats his name? the guy that wrote that book about that kid uhh, (Yes i should tell you now, as you can see i like to write things just as they are in my head, i think this gives my posts a personal twist, even if they are harder to understand) that guy... whatever.
I love Plot Twists, if they are truly sly.
You would think that i would love Crime books, but i think there is too many of them, it gets repetetive.
Books i have read through reading in here: Donna Tart: The Secret History, Forward, Only Forward (Still reading, pretty good).
Btw i have a copy of Gardens Of the Moon, but i found it too complex to read before i get a lil' better :)
This was very pointless... but guess what? Im bored as hell ;)

Get a collection of Stephen King short stories like Skeleton Crew.

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.

Welcome

I suggest that you invest in some of the Clive Cussler books, the Dirk Pitt adventures. I find that these books will help one to become an avid reader without it being noticed. Once you start a Cussler novel, its hard to put down. :)

I think you may just like Clive Barker's Books Of Blood. Or, if it has to be a novel, his The Damnation Game.

Thanks alot everyone, i was waiting for Skeleton Crew to arrive, promised to read 240 pages but i didn't have a book, i need to get one tomorrow, and i had forgotten everything about Clive Barker, he made Hellraiser n stuff, hehe, i know that sounds stupid, but face it, im not an avid reader yet.
Might take one of those you recommended.

A very wise and astute observation!
