Hey guys and girls,

I was looking for a place with people who share my passion for books, and right here is where I found myself. Hope this place rocks. :)
 
Thank you Robert and Libra for your warm welcomes. I can tell I'm going to like it here.
I actually finished reading Disgrace a couple of nights ago. I did indeed enjoy it. It's the first book I've read by J.M. Coetzee, but it certainly won't be the last. The way it ended was astounding. There was no clarity. No resolution. No conclusion.

I was a little surprised by the way it ended. Discrace was my second book from Coetzee, the first being Slow Man.
 
lol Libra, your eyeballs must be awful dusty.
I too was surprised Robert. I remember thinking 'when are these two going to resolve their issues?' As I neared the end it occurred to me that things weren't going to be wrapped up in a neat little package.
 
Oh good, I was worried. Well that's okay then. As long as you have the spray with you at all times you should be fine. (Sorry for taking a little longer to reply, I posted a thread in the Fiction forum).

I wouldnt worry about Libra. She reads a lot of sad stories.
 
Haha. So the spray isn't all that necessary after all.
