My eyes tell me that Sun revolves around Earth, but astronomy has taught me that the contrary is true.
My intuition tells me that human rights are the pinnacle of evolution, but evolutionary science teaching me that Man ( Human Being ) is one species among millions of others.

Beyond the theoretical framework, Evolution is documented by numerous facts and this book offers the best in selected pieces. With over two hundred reconstructions of animals and landscapes, this book shows a wonderful journey into the history of life and provides recent data on natural selection, adaptation, the emergence of species, etc.
Actually, this book does not criticize the contemporary theory of Evolution, but the way we speak about it. For this reason, in this book appears the scientific, epistemological and historical context in which we can understand evolution and besides, it provides us the keys to avoid the trap of our language.
Guide Criticism of Evolution is therefore an easy and funny reading. It will quickly become an essential tool for teachers in Science or Philosophy, or any curious person.
I read this book in French and I am not sure if it has been already translated in English. But, it should be done !

Cosimah,
That sounds like a fabulous book, both beautiful and interesting. I didn't see it listed in English yet when I just looked, but I shall be keeping my eyes open for it.

It will be especially interesting to see what are the traps to avoid and how the ways in which we speak may affect our perception or understanding of the theory.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Peder
