If you're reading a book by a certain author, and you want to know if there are any authors out there which are comparable to that particular one, go here.

Type in the name of that author in the 'Map of Literature'-box, and hit enter.

Voila. Next you'll see a map of some sorts, containing several names, hoovering around the name you just entered (which you'll find in the centre of the map). The closer the other names are to 'your' name, the more alike they are.

How's that for handy?
