Thanks for the birthday wishes folks. Sorry I wasn't around on the 29th.

I actually spent my birthday in Tangier.* An unexpected birthday present from Morocco was the trots I got from eating street food. A better unexpected birthday present was a 2012 calendar of holy sites in Russia that a gal I met at the Dos Mares hotel in Tarifa gave me.





*I do not recommend a birthday trip to Tangier. Tangier: you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy in Morocco.
