The Chinese Food place in town was really partying down tonight. I was kind of jealous, especially when I heard the thirty second version of how Chinese New Year parties go. Anyway, hurrah for the year of the dog!

I was at my dad's hometown, Ipoh, then off to my inlaw's place a little further north in Taiping, then today I'm going yet further north to Alor Setar. This is my annual CNY pilgrimage... plenty of travelling to do.
Plenty of reunions, food, a breather from hectic city life, mandarin oranges by the crates, angpows to give away, mahjong and cards (cash, of course).
I wonder how you other TBFers are celebrating... Chinese or not.
