Has anyone ever heard of this novel?

Hi everyone,
Just found your Forum and it looks great!
I'm trying to find the title of a novel I read once, many years ago. It's a horror story.
The main character lives near a family with, I think, 4 kids. He's closest to Cat, who is one of the youngest. All the kids seem weird, but Cat's youngest brother is really frightening. It turns out that the parents experimented with their kids, trying to produce evil. The youngest kids are the "successes", and Cat is actually one of the youngest.

I don't remember anything else. I'd really appreciate any help with this!

Hi! Welcome to the Forum. Your book sounds like Stephen King, but its not one I've read. Perhaps its Clive Barker??? Perhaps you could check his bibliography, a title may ring a bell. Worth a try! Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Sorry, I can't answer your question but I can say with certainty that it is not a Stephen King. It sounds quite intriguing though.
