Has anyone Read The Mage hound by Elain Cunningham

I have been reading it and I love it, but heres the deal, I have one day left to read it, and I have a lot left im not a fast reader either, I have a project due tomarrow, and It would be greatly appriciated if someone would give me a summary of the book, about two paragraphs at the most but what ever you can tell me would be wonderful
