I am an internationally-recognized military historian and author. In 2003, I published The Gulf War Chronicles. I have been published in Military Magazine and The Marine Corps Gazette. I am a senior contributor of contemporary military history for The History Project at the University of Salford, England.
I am also a frequent contributor to military websites such as alwaysfaithful.net, armchairgeneral.com, desert-storm.com, militaryhistoryonline.com and military.com. and write feature articles for Lifestyles magazine, a local community interest magazine with a readership in excess of 100,000.
I am an active member in the Florida Writers Association and founder of The Orlando Writers Guild.

I am currently working on my second book, MARINES IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

Are there any other historians of military writers out there?

Hello, I remember you from when you first joined. :)

Thanks for the military history sites as, while not a military historian, I do like to read this sort of stuff. The more ancient, however, the better.

Yes. I know. But as the world gets smaller, we can accurately record events for history much faster than we ever could before. I write about current military events but my hope is that my books will become works of history one day.

Welcome, RichardLowry! I haven't done any military work. My historicals are generally western U.S., turn-of-the-century things. The rest of my novels are fantasy/paranormal and my articles tend to be outdoor or legal pieces. My husband is a WWII buff, so I might have to pick up your book for him as a stocking stuffer. I don't think he has anything as recent as Gulf War stories.

Hope you enjoy it here!

Cathy

You certainly have varied interests. Good luck with your writing. My book is available through most online book outlets. It is available in 6x9 paperback or hardcover.

What type of western history do you fancy?

Richard
