Hello and help please.

Hello to all authors, readers and bloggers who are brave enough to manage the net with ease. It intimidates me to no end, but I am trying to learn. I am an avid reader and have written a series of books I am releasing with the hopes of paying it forward and helping others, but as I said, the internet for me is quite encumbering. Any suggestions as to where to go and how to post my books to get the word out is greatly appreciated.
