Hi forum community - I am a reader teacher who is created forums for my students to exchange ideas about the novels we are reading with eachother and the community.
We will be discussing Brian's Winter and Number the Stars. I am hoping the exchange they have with the community is interesting and informative. Thanks,

A.F.

Hi and Welcome! What an interesting idea, bringing your class discussion to an active book forum..could be fun for us all. I've never read Paulson's original series, but I like the idea of taking the same character and creating an alternate scenario for him. Soon as the roads are less treacherous, I might need to take my teen boys to the library! I think we have a copy of Number the Stars in the basement; I'll have to ask my basement dwellers:p

Could be interesting or it could be a train wreck. On way to find out, e?

Oh, and welcome!

Something similar happens on my history forum where one of the members annually invites her class to register and post responses online.

I figure, as long as the students are old enough to join according to the agreement, and they aren't asking us to give them the answers for their assignments, it can't be too bad. (As if this bunch would let the little darlings slide by without reading the book anyway:p )

thank alot for making this up i think it will be really kool:eek:  :D :( ;)  :) :p
