Just thought I'd introduce myself

I'm Cas. I'm from Australia, I'm a fulltime mum and I am working on releasing one of my first novels as a post by post blog.

But what I am really here for is one of my recent works, which after chatting with an editor I realise I need to read more in the area that I write.

Which is mostly YA fantasy but with some picture books and a desire to explore middle grade fiction. So I'm on this forum to find out what's hot in these area's and what's worth reading.

I'm not sure about the rules yet but if anyone's interested in checking out my ya Fantasy the first instalment goes up on monday and the link is in my signiture - if that's against the rules (I know I am kind of plugging) please let me know and I'll remove it

I think Sarah J. Maas sort of started that way. I'm not finished reading her book Throne of Glass, but apparently it's got a lot of online fans.
