Hello everyone...I hope someone...anyone can help me...
I have maybe 4 or 5 times a year in the past 5 years have searched for these set of books that I read when I was maybe 12 years old and that is well over a decade ago...
Here is what I remember from storylines of a few of the books...
The first book centers around a boy [in his teens?] whose name i think is Will but I KNOW starts with a W. Someone is looking for him or is after him...whoever is looking for him has come into his home near Christmas time and taken a christmas ornament off of the tree. [each member of the family had an ornament with the initial of their first name] They took the wrong one however because one of the initials was an M which was upside down and had taken that one on mistake. There is a family friend/uncle/?? who knows what is going on and explains and helps him overcome this new time in his life. Magic is involved.
Another book involves the character Will? W....? and he is visiting in Wales and his uncle/family friend....what have you is there as well. Will? W...? and his sister? or cousin...meet another boy their age who is very pale and very blond [almost white hair] with pale blue eyes. He is the son of Guinevere and Lancelot but was brought to modern times by the family friend/uncle of Will? W...? for some reason. Safekeeping? This is the book where the connotation is made that this uncle/family friend could be Merlin.
The last book I remember is about a young girl going to the coast [I think her parents are divorced???] and there is a sea witch/mistress/mermaid who has a "treasure" that she holds dear and guards selfishly? but they take it from her for some reason to save someone or something? The girl then feels badly and wants to amend things with the sea witch/mistress/mermaid and at the end of the book decides to give her silver bracelet. As she is about too Will? W...? arrives and mentions that silver will deteriorate in the ocean. He then gives her a gold bracelet [?] and puts it into this tube and throws it out to sea.
That's all I remember. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN...I'M GOING INSANE OVER TRYING TO RECOVER THESE BOOKS SO THAT I MIGHT REREAD THEM AND SHARE THEM.
Best,
Mini
