Hi there,
I was just wondering if anyone knows whether Northern Lights or The Subtle Knife are worth anything when signed by Phillip Pullman even if they're not 1st edition? I guess not but i thought I might as well check when I saw a 1st edition signed one went for £10,000! thanks in advance

Probably not. The first edition aspect is pretty important. But, I should also say that 10,000 pounds seems like a lot of money, either way. I mean, that price seems like an aberation. Like the people who say that they have Beanie Babies that are worth thousands of dollars.
Let me add, though, that that is no comment on Mr. Pullman or his books. I thought that the His Dark Materials trilogy was brilliant.

see what people are selling it for on ebay or abebooks or similar. That should give you an idea of its worth. It may be worth millions, but only if you can find the right buyer.
