Hemispheres

Are you a right-brainer or a left-brainer? Find out by taking a quick quiz here.

Left brain dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven.

Right brain dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said, visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.

For those who may be interested, I am a righty. :D

"Overall you appear to have fairly Equal Hemispheres."

Yeah, "brain based" learning theory doesn't have a wide following, though for awhile, it was huge in education. Administrators and teachers loved it as it gave general ideas as to how to reach every learning style that exists. Pesonally, I don't put a lot of credence into it as I believe Howard Gardner's multiple intelligence theory is a better explanation.

Take a roughly generalized quiz to see if you are "right" or "left" brained. :D

Right Brain 50%
Left Brain 56%

Well, that's interesting. The questions about whether I prefer chaos or order probably had something to do with it. I'm one of those people who prefers fun time to be chaotic and work time to be organized.
