However any hurricane that bears my name is bound to be trouble! Head for high ground and then feel free to blame me for the damage. :cool:

it was...I did...I'm not....


I just love Irene....and I've got vacation in North Carolina starting in 8 days...I want Irene to take it easy on the area I'm heading to....

Please Mother....stay away from all N.C. coastal areas....

Projected landfall somewhere between NC and MASS?

I'm hoping more for NC (sorry Moto). My family lives on Naragansett bay and some of their houses flood when we get hurricanes. My mom always ends up with huge trees down in her yard, something she doesn't need to deal with by herself.

Well, that would be acceptable as well. Although, you should keep in mind that hurricanes can be fun (as long as your hotel isn't actually a condo close to the water). You have one day of crazy weather followed by three days of awesome surf! Other than the property damage I always have to deal with, I love them.
