Hi, anyone knows something about this book, The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell?? I happened to know this book in the library, and liked to have more info about her, and her books. Any help is appreciated! :)

well---, I noticed that as well. considering his pretty high mood, you know, ... :D
 
I've read it, but I didn't like it. I found it far too contrived and far-fetched to be able to suspend my disbelief at any point. They even had their very own man in a red jumper included in the story just so he could die pointlessly and early on. It felt very much like the author hadn't given much thought to motivation or plot once she'd got the characters up to a certain point.
