My name is Dan and right now I am reading a mystery series by Ridley Pearson. Six down three to go. I got hooked on mysteries about 5 years ago and have read several novels by Pearson as well as G. M. Ford (not the ex president), Earl Emerson and have even thrown in a couple Michael Crichton for good measure.
Another author I am fond of is Charles R. Cross. He's best known for his illustrated history of Led Zeppelin "Heaven and Hell" and the biography of Kurt Cobain "Heavier Than Heaven", which is a great book even if you weren't a fan. It's a fascinating look into this guys life and what made him tick. Hopefully when I get some time I will read "Room Full of Mirrors", his biography of Jimi Hendrix.
Other authors include Stephen King, John Irving and John Grisham to name a few.
As you can see my reading is all over the place. But I do have a thing for mysteries, particularly those in a series. I get attached to the characters and can't wait to read the next book in the series to find out what happens to them.
My goal here is to perhaps be able to contribute to this forum in some way and to draw from the knowledge of its members. Thanks for taking the time to read my first post.
