I'm a dutch (Belgium) read-all with a preference for Thrillers/horror.
My favorite writers are...hm...too many to count. In fact, you can take a look at my website to know what I'm reading.

Yes, recensies mean that those are the books for wich I wrote a review. But I read al the others too.

I don't think you are alone (about the Dutch language)

As I say, I like a lot of writers, mostly in the thriller/horror genre. But of course there are some I prefer more than others.
For exemple :

Carl Hiaasen
T. Jefferson Parker
Michael Connelly
Elmore Leonard
Dean Koontz (The early work, but the last are getting better again)
Stephen King (also the early work)
Tom Clancy (but not the op-center series)
Frederick Forsyth
Michael Marshall Smith
Dan Simmons
Lee Child
Preston & Child
...

But of course I have to wait for the Dutch Translations and sadly enough, not all books are translated.

You are completely right. But he's not so popular in Belgium and I don't find many books of him here.
