I'm new. I'm an Aussie mum and looking for a book I used to read in Primary School about 1984-1985.
He had a turtle and the turtle had a weird name, I'm sure the book was named about this turtle. I think the boy in the book was named Jake? they used to go to the park as well ...
Can anybody help? My teacher used to read this to us and I loved it, I just can't think of the name. I really want to track a copy down and read it to my DD.
