Hello, I'm new here and figure I should post an introduction to let you know I'm lurking around.

My name is Heather and I'm a married mom of two boys (6 and 3), and I'm also a full time student pursuing my Bachelor of Education. Another lifetime ago I received my B.A in English literature, and some day plan on being a high school English teacher.

I am an avid reader, averaging one or two books a week, and my interests cross upon all genres. I recently discovered that I'm a fan of sci-fi romance, but I am most in love with historical fiction, of all flavors.

Two weeks ago I started up my own book review blog (hence my user name), where I review books as well as share my own novel work (I have 4 unfinished manuscripts laying around). If you're interested in checking it out, the URL is in my profile, and I'm on twitter.

There's a section for posting unfinished manuscripts on here so you can have people read it and ask what the think about it and such.
