Hi im Rade, ive come to have a nose and hopefully help out alittle ..i love reading and think its sad that the numbers of kids and adults who cant read (not due to disability) is increasing..books are one of the oldest and best forms of media and should stay that way

I have a nose too but I did not come by it through the forum. I already had it before I joined.:)

Wolf, I couldn't agree with you more. That's the reason I volunteer with my local library as an adult literacy tutor, not only do I get to meet wonderful people (both my student, other students, other tutors and the people who run the program) it's incredibly rewarding work, not only do you get to help someone, but you get to do it in a more personal way. Many libraries have similar programs, maybe you would be interested in getting involved, it calms the frustration if you know you're getting involved!
