Post here if you've seen the film. I'd love to know what you think about the film adaption.

I thought it was great. Not the same as the book but still great. Miyazaki ran out of time to explain everything at the end but it still worked.

I haven't read the book, but I've seen the movie. I liked it.

I saw the movie but didn't read the book. But I could really tell that what Carica said was true and that the director ran out of time to explain things toward the end. In the last half hour or so I kept going, "Huh? What the heck was that?" But I thought it was a good movie overall.
