Hurricane Season 2010

Hurricane Season is here and I can't help but wonder what currently pristine beaches on the Gulf are going be the next stop on the Oil Spill 2010 Gulf Tour.

Anyone aware of any precautions that are being taken?

FYI...hurricane season runs from June 1st - November 30th.

Not too much one can do to keep tar balls off of the beach. Just when the Governor of Mississippi declared the beaches clean a while back, tar balls started coming up on the beach, a passing storm threw them up. Bad timing. We haven't been down there, so can't be an eyewitness.

If storms continue to, for the most part, continue to travel up the East Coast and avoid the Gulf it'll be a better beach forecast.

Ordinarily the first half of hurricane season is pretty quiet though, so doens't get much attention. We're in peak right now.
