I'm not sure where you should look but I do think you should work on your spelling and try using some punctuation before you start writing for a newspaper.

Read the old throwbacks first. Anything by Andy Rooney, Mike Royko, not to mention Woodward & Bernstein. After them, the pool gets amazingly shallow IMHO.
