I'm ill

I think I am extreamly ill... I think I have a fever or something... I can't move very much and feel weak and tired all the time... I have had this for a week and its got worse today and I feel like I need to throw up :( I need cheering up please :( Martin always cheers me up :eek: :(
 
OK, i'll tell you a joke!

This guy is about to go to work. Let's call him Jim. No real reason, but let's call him Jim. Anyway, Jim is about to leave for work. He gives his wife a sweet kiss on the cheek and off he goes. When he gets to the door there is this HUGE cockroach standing here!!!! The cockroach promptly and without warning punches poor ol Jim in the face! ( gasp ) So, Jim goes back and tells his wife what has happens. So his wife says, oh yeah, I heard there was a nasty bug going around!!!!

Ahem.

There. All cheered up.

Have you seen the doctor? A fever without a cold to cause it needs some investigating methinks.

Not trying to scare you, but if there's a cold you know the cause so there's no point in seeing the doctor. If you've got a fever but no cold, and you've had it for a week then I just think it's worth to get yourself check over by the doctor.

*Gets worried* Well my parents are on holiday, so if I still have it next week, I'll go see the doctor...

Don't you have any other close relatives that can get you in to see your doc?

Put it off 'til next week and we may be starting an obituary thread in your honor. :eek:

:eek: *Smacks you around the head* Don't scare me! Lol. I have grandparents and my sister is always out... I got friends I guess... I'll be ok... I think...

Will you stop getting worried? Paracetamol or ibuprfen should help with the fever, and drink lots, and maybe take a good multivitamin. Also make sure the room you're in isn't too warm. And other than that, stay in bed.
